January is traditionally seen as a slow month in South Africa, as the country gets back to the grind after the December holidays. This year the month is chock full of Elastic news and events, and we’ve taken the liberty to gather all the biggest news in one place for you to read. Here’s what happened in January, and some news about what is happening going forward.
Our next Elastic SA Meetup has been announced
We’re very excited to announce that our next Elastic SA Meetup will take place on the 22nd of February at Nedbank in Sandton. We’ve got some amazing speakers lined up for the event and will announce them very soon. To RSVP for the event, head over to the Elastic SA Meetup page.
The biggest Elastic event of the year happens at the end of the month in San Francisco. The Official Elastic Conference squeezes technical talks, product roadmaps and training into three days. There is something for everyone at the conference, from developers to community managers. You can read more about the conference and plan your trip on the official Elastic page. For those who can’t attend, we’ll round-up all the Elastic news from the conference and keep you in the loop.
